This natural Ethiopian coffee comes to us from the Gogogu washing station, tucked into the highlands of Guji, where more than 700 smallholder farmers from the surrounding area deliver ripe coffee cherries throughout the harvest.
Grown between 1,900–2,200 meters, these native Ethiopian heirloom varieties are carefully sorted before being dried whole on raised beds—a traditional natural process that helps develop the vibrant fruit and layered sweetness we love in coffees from this region.
In the cup, wild blueberry leads the way, followed by fragrant jasmine and a rich toffee-like sweetness that brings everything together. It's juicy and expressive without being overly funky, with a sweetness and depth that make it just as inviting as it is distinctive.
