Sweet, smooth, and wonderfully balanced, this washed Costa Rican coffee comes to us from the Central Valley, a region known for its rich volcanic soils, lush landscapes, and long-standing coffee-growing traditions.

Grown at elevations between 1,200–1,800 meters, this coffee is part of Café Imports' Café Vida program, which highlights the classic qualities of Costa Rican coffees: gentle acidity, comforting sweetness, and beautifully balanced flavors. The washed process helps preserve the coffee's clean character while allowing its natural sweetness to shine.

In the cup, we're tasting sweet marzipan and fresh cherry, with a subtle almond-like richness reminiscent of amaretto. A silky, smooth mouthfeel ties everything together, creating a coffee that's delicate yet satisfying, with just enough fruit to keep things interesting.

Approachable, comforting, and quietly complex, this is a lovely everyday coffee for those who appreciate a sweeter, more nuanced cup.
